LAYART stickers are made from premium quality UV resistant adhesive materials but saying that, just like any sticker they need a clean surface to hang with - Take the following steps before and after application and it'll be lay'd for life, or until you're over it... Then rip it off and put on a new design, easy as that!
STEP BY STEP
Step 1: Make sure the surface you are applying the sticker to is thoroughly clean of all dirt, dust, sand, salt, wax and grime. (The best way to clean a used board after removing all the wax is to either buff it out with an old dry towel, mineral turpentine or pure alcohol)
Step 2: Before you start to remove the backing, lay the sticker over the desired area to give yourself an idea of the placement to ensure the area underneath is clean and also if any parts of the sticker need to be trimmed as its easier to do this now with scissors.
Step 3: Lay and position the sticker where you would like it and peel back and fold a small part (4-5cm) of the backing either at the top or bottom of the sticker sticking it the surface so the rest of the sticker is aligned but not stuck.
Step 4: Slowly start to remove the rest of the backing evenly rubbing down the sticker with your fingers or a credit card with an even and consistent pressure pushing the air bubbles to the sides. (Don’t stress too much about bubbles as they can be removed later with a pin).
Step 5: Once the sticker is completely applied to the surface you should be able to rub the majority of the bubbles out the sides and the ones that remain can be easily removed with the poke of a pin or needle and rubbing the air out of the hole.
Finally give the sticker a thorough rub down especially around the edges and sides ensuring that it’ll be lay’d for life.
